Find your footing. Grow from there.

About Solid Ground

Solid Ground Counseling & Wellness was created with the belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, understood, and supported.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, big emotions, relationships, life transitions, or simply trying to understand yourself better, therapy can help you find your footing and move forward with greater confidence.

The Solid Ground Mission

Solid Ground Counseling & Wellness exists to help people find their footing. In themselves, in their relationships, and in the different seasons of life. Through honest, compassionate therapy, I help children, teens, and adults better understand themselves, build confidence and self-worth, and develop the tools they need to navigate life on their own terms.

The Solid Ground Vision

A world where every person feels grounded in who they are, knows they are enough, and feels confident navigating whatever life brings.

Meet Chely

Hi, I'm Chely Craig, LCSWA, founder and therapist behind Solid Ground Counseling & Wellness.

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, meeting you where you are and creating space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface.

I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationships, emotional well-being, and life transitions. With children, I also support concerns such as anger and emotional regulation, separation anxiety, attention and focus, behavior challenges, and coping with big emotions. I draw from CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based approaches, and play-based techniques for children, tailoring our work to your needs, personality, and goals.

Sessions may include conversation, creativity, reflection, or practical skill-building. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop tools that support you beyond the therapy room.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. You just have to be willing to take the first step.
